Dog Training Success Stories

Lady's Leash Pulling Transformation

Do you struggle with a dog that pulls like crazy on the leash? If so, there is certainly hope! Check out Lady, a beautiful black lab that had some pretty intense pulling issues on the walk. Although she was a challenging girl for sure, Lady was walking like a pro by her 2nd session!

Brutus, the Naughty Corgi

Brutus was an adolescent corgi who gave his owners quite a difficult time. Not only was he disobedient and lacking obedience, but he wasn’t afraid to bite his owners for making him do things he didn’t want to do. In fact, he had even bitten a family member for trying to pick him up and put him in his crate. Now, however, those days are over, and Brutus is much more well-behaved!

Eliminating Zoey's Leash Aggression

Zoey is a terrier mix that came to me for training due to some intense reactivity issues. Anytime her owners would take her on walks, she would act aggressively towards other dogs and people passing by. After completing her training program, Zoey and her owners can now enjoys walks together without having issues.

Obedience with Australian Shepherds Angel & Ruger

Australian shepherds can be quite a handful, especially when they are in the puppy and adolescent phase. Angel and Ruger were right in that time period when they came to us for training. Things like potty training, walking nicely on the leash, and just being more well-behaved and relaxed inside the house were all priorities for their owners, so that is exactly what we focused on with them.

Nike's Off-Leash Transformation

Nike came to me due to some issues of never coming when called, and just overall never listening. Through our unique training approach, we were able to give Nike’s owners exactly what they were looking for…awesome off-leash reliability! The ultimate goal!

4 Month Old Puppy Training

Check out this cool little puppy named Midge. She had a real knack for learning quickly. With the right amount of motivation, young puppies like this can easily learn essential commands and behaviors. This is also a key time for socialization and exposure to a variety of noises, surfaces, and environments.

Turning Leash Pulling Around in 30 Minutes

Pete came to me for training due to some leash pulling behaviors. While this behavior can be very frustrating, it can often times be turned around in the first training session. Check out this video showing Pete’s transformation!

Obedience Training with Two Great Danes

Two great Danes named Marilyn and Monroe came to me in need of some basic obedience training. Their owners ran a daycare inside of their home, so it was essential to make sure these two were under control. This video shows Marilyn and Monroe working on the “place” command, which taught the two Danes to stay on their beds until released, regardless of any distractions around them.

Little Terrors on the Walk

Meet Monty and Roo! Although small and cute, these two were giving their owner quite a challenge during walks around the neighborhood. Anytime they would see other dogs on the walk, they would react aggressively by barking and growling. In a short amount of time, however, this behavior was eliminated, and walks became a much more enjoyable experience.

Eliminating Doberman Leash Aggression

Hunter is a doberman that had some pretty intense issues prior to training. Anytime his owners would take him on a walk around the neighborhood, Hunter would aggressively bark, growl, and lunge at any dogs that would pass by. After eliminating these issues, we decided to take Hunter to a local pet gather to see how the training would hold up. Check out the video to see how Hunter did!

Working with an Anxious and Hyperactive Lab

Stewart is a lab I worked with that struggled with a lack of impulse and the inability to relax. He was often times in a very anxious and stressed out state of mind, which was apparent from his continual barking, pacing, panting, and begging for attention. His owners were also expecting a baby in the next few months, so it was vital to make sure that Stewart was able to be more calm and well-mannered.

Training a 5 Month of Golden Retriever Puppy

Murphy was a golden retriever puppy that started going through our basic puppy training around 3 months of age. After getting the basics down, Murphy’s owners then decided to get him enrolled in some awesome off-leash training. By 5 months of age, Murphy was doing fantastic with his obedience. He was definitely one of the fastest learning pups I have worked with.

Jake, the Hyperactive Aussiedoodle

Although friendly and extremely handsome, Jake the Aussiedoodle was quite a handful with his hyperactivity and rambunctious behavior. With his evident lack of impulse control, his owners were ready to get him on the right track with obedience. They also wanted Jake to have some awesome off-leash training, so that is exactly what we gave them!

Off-Leash Training with Luna the Lab Puppy

Luna was a 6 month old black lab that came to me for a full off-leash obedience program. We taught her the commands sit, down, place, heel, and coming when called, all with off-leash reliability. Like many young dogs, Luna was playful and tons of fun, but she needed a solid foundation in obedience. This videos shows her progress as we worked our way through the training program.

Tyler the Black Lab/Pit Mix

Tyler is a 9 month old adolescent dog that had some typical hyperactivity and obedience issues. He would ignore commands, jump all over guests, and would get uncontrollable “zoomies” inside the house. Now check out some of Tyler’s improvement!

Off-Leash Training with Nali

Nali’s had already done some previous basic obedience, but they were looking to get a more advanced edge on her training. Nali was familiar with commands such as sit, lay down, and go to a “place,” but her owners were really wanting her to have solid obedience that would hold in off-leash, distracting environments. Watch Nali show off some of her new off-leash skills!
